FAITH TOWARD GOD

Faith toward God happens when we have heard the Gospel and make a decision to repent of our sins and turn to God in faith and receive His Son, Jesus Christ, as our personal Savior and Lord.

Faith is rooted in our belief in Jesus as the Son of God and believing on His finished work on the cross and His resurrection.

Faith toward God—our Heavenly Father—is simply believing that God is who He says He is in the Bible and choosing to walk with Him day by day, coming to Him by faith through our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6 NKJV)

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. (Romans 5:1-2 NKJV)
